Ritual of the Wild

Ritual of the Wild - practiced to a song called Drink before the war by Sinead O’Connor. Practiced and written just one day before she died.

Copied from my Instagram.

I decided to share the part which is the most raw and so not Instagram-usual-reality.
It’s been my reality for about ten days though - I went down the Sinéad rabbit hole, I got inspired by oppression, depression, tantra and living.

I watched the Indian Netflix series Scoop based on a true story… there is a scene where a woman is dancing so wild and free, dancing “like crazy” and because of her expression she gets locked up into a mental institution - well that just went straight down my heart like an arrow.

I also rewatched Indian movie Garbage and just like the first time I cried in anger.

I got inspired by anger because I work with women in coaching sessions and sometimes we do certain Tantric practices about emotions, let me tell you : women and anger is an interesting story. The wounding is deep. So many women never dared to roar and so they rather forgot ( it’s safer ). On the other hand - sometimes I get to witness the moment they remember and Oh Holy Goddess, that power of a woman reclaiming her fullness back is something I can never ever forget 🙏

This whole theme inspired me deeply. I’m not talking just the superficial talk of reclaim your Wild back, woman ! Loosen up your hair or shave it or grow your armpit hair back or wear a red lipstick or dance wildly and run naked in the nature… I’m talking the wild sides that still get women oppressed and their clits cut off. The primal. The depth of the universe, the womb from which new humans are being born, the thunder of a volcano. The wild at its depth !
This work is as deep as it can get. It often goes doooown to the shadows and reclamation can often be painful as it goes down to safety. How many times was it when it was simply not safe to be in the full spectrum of the feminine?…

This speech could go on forever, this theme I’ve lived the past days has created new poems, ideas and a massive inspiration to continue my studies so I can keep creating that space which holds women safely in their absolute fullness!
The feminine is vast and contradictory. We contain multitudes!!!
