When you do the work to be more aware - you become more aware.
AWARE OF IT ALL.
We’ve been taught and conditioned to label things, emotions and experiences good & bad and this conditioning doesn’t help us once we are aware of our functioning… because when feel and are aware of what we label as “the bad” stuff - we tend to judge ourselves. We shame ourselves, or go on a guilt trip … and we can feel like all the inner work we’ve done is useless or the inner judge can be really critical and harsh …
When actually, the more we learn how to love ourselves, the more unintegrated, unhealed parts in us start coming to that awareness of ours that we’ve been cultivating ;)
So … Now… here comes the part where if you don’t know what tools to use for moving forward through this beautiful journey and often journey of healing … maybe it’s a good time to also recognise that you don’t have to do it alone 🤗
I am a big advocate for having support group.
Teachers, guides, coaches, therapists …
And honestly, it’s usually the times when we think we don’t need it, or times we don’t want to ask for help … when we might need it the most.
Especially if the inner critic and judge is louder than the other parts in us that make us shine.
Oh we can be so hard on ourselves …
